The Role You'll be someone who thrives on large scale operations; experience working in a high-volume quality cocktail bar is essential. Whiskey knowledge is a bonus. You'll not only be responsible for the day-to-day running of the bar, but also back of house duties; reporting on profit and loss, KPI targets to achieve, budgeting and forecasting, stocktaking, rostering, ordering, training and development, masterclasses etc. This business prides itself on looking after their staff, so employee engagement and staff retention is rewarded. We are looking for someone who is a calm, intelligent leader that leads from the front and can effectively communicate with all types of people. The Required Experience Ideally, you'll have experience as a bar manager, with high level spirit knowledge and strong cocktail knowledge. Someone who is well groomed and enjoys the social aspect of hospitality. This is a premium, fun and professional environment, so this would suit someone who enjoys that fast and fun approach to work. The right candidate will have strength in personality, confident running a large bar, organised, plus a dynamic presence that can deal with all situations. A strong financial acumen is needed, as you will be reporting on p&l's, setting budgets and will have KPI targets to achieve. The Rewards As an indication, you will be looking at a salary up to $115,000 dependent on experience plus tips and would generally be looking at a 45 hour week with Sunday's and Monday's off.
