An opportunity exists for an experienced Warehouse Operator to join this well-established global freight forwarder currently located in Altona North. The ideal candidate is someone who has previous warehouse experience and is looking to work for a company who supports and appreciates their staff. Duties and Responsibilities: Loading and unloading containers both manually and with a forklift Picking and packing of orders High reach & counterbalance forklift operation WMS administration, inventory and stocktaking duties Updating information in the operating system Receiving and dispatch Ensuring documentation and cargo release information is complete and correct General warehouse duties Role Requirements: Prior experience in 3PL warehousing, preferably in an international freight forwarding capacity Current LF forklift licence is essential Ability to lift up to 20kgs Experience with MS Excel and MS Outlook Previous WMS experience would be an advantage Ability to prioritise and time manage Results driven and customer focused Ability to solve problems via a common-sense approach Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal Strong attention to detail Drive to ensure department KPIs and SOPs are met and adhered to This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join the warehousing team with an employer who recognises and appreciates your commitment to the continued success of the organisation.
