FIFO Project Engineer - Civil Engineering $130,000 to $180,000 basic salary (DOE) Super & site uplift Northern Territory (FIFO) TEN Recruitment are in partnership with a growing contractor who provide a wide range of services for clients in sectors such as energy, construction, mining and resources. Projects include site preparation, roads, foundations, structures, substations, remediation / maintenance, excavation, concrete and formwork. They currently have an immediate need for a Project Engineer from a civil engineering background who has solid experience delivering projects involving bulk earthworks and concrete structures. The successful candidate with be working on a 12 month project with the support of an SPE. This is a FIFO opportunity working on a project in the Northern Territory. Duties: Coordinate, review and approve civil calculations, design reports and construction drawings. Planning and scheduling the scope of work for the project, including labour, delivery of equipment and materials ensuring the company is resourced for the works Provide engineering and design advice and approval on earthworks, concrete and formwork structures. Assist in the development of scope of work documents for the engagement of suppliers and contractors. Coordinate constructability reviews during the design process and share methodology with project and construction teams. Coordinate the preparation of civil designs and drawings aligned with the project schedule. Responsible for ensuring that Concrete and Structural QA/QC and Specifications comply with design requirements and Australian Standards Promote cost savings and identify improvement opportunities with regards to design, engineering and work practices, while supporting Construction Manager to manage overall schedule and technical queries Candidate criteria: Tertiary Degree Qualification in Civil Engineering Experience delivering scopes of work such as bulk earthworks, concrete and structural. Professional Engineering accreditation / Chartered Status (advantageous). 5 years’ experience in Project Engineering on mining and resource construction projects for Civil Engineering Contractors. MUST BE RESIDING IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA AND HAVE FULL WORKING RIGHTS.
