About this role Embrace the chance to be a part of this newly established team. The National Operations Centre (NOC) is responsible for monitoring critical business technology services of I-MED. In your role as an IT Operations Engineer, you play a significant role in guaranteeing uninterrupted and high-quality service availability, which is essential for the smooth functioning of the business. This Sydney based role will involve a rotating roster system, working 4 days on and 4 days off. The shifts will be made up of 2 day shifts from 7am-7pm and 2 night shifts from 7pm to 7am. The work you do every day is at the core of providing prompt medical imaging services to patients across Australia and New Zealand. When you work for I-MED you form part of a critical supply chain that supports emergency departments, obstetrics, oncology clinics and more. What you'll do Regularly monitor systems, networks, and infrastructure Provide after-hours service desk support to users Identify and address issues before they affect business operations Handle and administer privileged accounts securely What you've done NOC or equivalent experience, ideally in a continuous shift operations centre (24/7x365) Strong technical knowledge of networking protocols TCP/IP, SNMP, DNS, DHCP, and other networking protocols Familiarity with server operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux) and basic server administration. Strong problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues quickly. Experience with technology service monitoring tools - systems, application, and networks such as Centreon, Solarwinds, PTRG desirable Familiarity with IT service management tools and frameworks (ITIL v3/4). Demonstrated experience in delivering exemplary support, customer service and training Excellent documentation skills for keeping records of issues, resolutions, and operational procedures Effective communication with the ability to work as part of a team, especially in a high-pressure environment where collaboration is essential to solving issues.
