. Purpose of Role This new role in the enterprise data team is to provide technical leadership and enable the (data) centre of excellence. In this role, the candidate is expected to be the key business contact for any data platform related work. The Principal is expected to work with multiple business stakeholders and address all their data needs and work with IT stakeholders to ensure data service is always active and running. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership Develop and maintain multiple ETL pipelines. Ensure all data services are active and running. Work with Data governance and Data architects to implement policies and standards Build multiple Data marts for analytics consumption. Service data needs via a data office. Monitor performance and improve performance where necessary. Collect business requirements. Build and maintain associated artefacts. Ensure Coding standards are followed and govern the team. Skills and Experience Strong team player. Knowledge of Data management, governance, and data modelling. Experience with data profiling, analysis, data mapping. Experience building traditional ETL and modern ELT solutions. Designing and developing ELT framework. Experience on technologies like Snowflake, Synapse, Data bricks, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS Deep understanding of Kimball methodology and data warehousing concepts. Experience building power BI data models. Experience working with large scale traditional and modern data platforms. Understanding of micro services and application architecture. Experience working with legacy databases and complex databases. Experience in master data management. Technologies: Snowflake, Power BI, SQL Server 2017, Neo4J (Graph), MongoDB, Azure Data factory, EventHub, Jira, Confluence, Azure functions, Python, C#, Purview, Profisee .
