Only a stone's throw from Melbourne, Geelong and Bendigo so feel a sense of connectedness from working in regional Victoria Full time ongoing position (part time considered) Salary based on experience, range: $86,795 to $97,921 (pro rata) plus super Up to $15,900 in salary packaging and hybrid WFH/office model About the role: Victoria Legal Aid (VLA) is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Administrative Services Manager to join our Ballarat team. In the role, you will be primarily responsible for leading a dedicated team of legal assistants and managing day-to-day operations within the regional office – this means: Ensuring the professional development and managing the performance of the administrative team; Managing the facilities function including access control, coordinating routine maintenance, supplies and work equipment; Managing the day-to-day office budget and petty cash including the payment of trade creditors, banking of client contributions and attending to settlements; Coordinating the provision of paralegal services by the administrative staff; Assisting fellow managers with policy reviews and ad-hoc duties as required This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional looking to join a collaborative team and give back to the community. About you: As our ideal candidate, you will possess: Demonstrated experience supervising, monitoring and leading staff with a passion in developing and upskilling team members. Strong aptitude coordinating administrative services with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Sound problem-solving skills, along with the capability to troubleshoot issues independently and appropriately escalate them when necessary.
