Your New Role As a pivotal member of our warehouse and logistics team, the role of Process Engineer is instrumental in reshaping operational strategies. Your primary responsibility is to enhance efficiency, productivity, and precision across our processes. By collaborating with diverse teams, you'll play a key role in analysing existing workflows, pinpointing areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that bring about tangible enhancements. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to leverage your expertise to revolutionise how we handle inventory, fulfill orders, and deliver products. The impact of your work will be directly reflected in our ability to meet customer demands promptly, maintain optimal inventory levels, and uphold the highest standards of quality throughout the entire process. Day to Day Analyse current processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions for streamlined workflows and reduced costs. Use data-driven insights to evaluate performance indicators, supporting data-based decision-making and continuous improvement. Implement quality control measures for precision in inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipments. Identify opportunities for automation, integrating technologies like robotics and RFID. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align process improvements with organisational goals. Develop and conduct training sessions for staff, ensuring compliance with optimised processes. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies. Your Skills Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Proven experience as a Process Engineer in a warehouse and logistics environment, showcasing successful process optimisation and automation initiatives. Proficiency in data analysis tools and software for interpreting complex data sets and generating actionable insights. Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. Familiarity with automation technologies such as robotics, conveyor systems, and RFID. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills. Effective communication skills to collaborate with diverse teams and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving work environment, demonstrating flexibility and creativity in problem-solving.
