We are seeking an Operational Network & System Administrator to support, maintain and monitor Transgrid's Operational Technology (OT) Data Network. The position is responsible for installing, commissioning and maintaining network equipment and systems in Transgrid's operational sites throughout NSW and the ACT. The role also provides technical support and advice associated with this equipment and liaises with internal and external customers to achieve Transgrid's business objectives. The Operational Network & System Administrator will provide support services in relation to SCADA Remote Terminal Units, Substation Controls and Data Networks. In this role, OT network familiarity is essential with the ability to design, commission and maintain IP networks and servers. About You Possession of an appropriate qualification: Electrical trade certificate or equivalent. Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; or Bachelor's Degree in engineering (Electrical) or equivalent. Telecommunications Certificate IV or equivalent program, and/or equivalent relevant knowledge and extensive experience Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), or extensive relevant experience Extensive knowledge and experience OT network proficiency being able to program and maintain Servers, NMS, Switches and Routers Proficiency in the preparation and review of policies, strategies, and procedures Proficiency in the preparation of documentation associated with design and augmentations Highly developed written and verbal communication skills Ability to work autonomously Expert understanding of relevant diagnostic testing techniques Willing to engage in continuous development to ensure skills are up to date with industry and Transgrid standards Current NSW drivers' licence Recognition & Reward In return for your hard work, we have numerous benefits and initiatives to support you personally and professionally including but not limited to private health insurance discount, motor vehicle lease plan, career development support, study assistance program and workplace flexibility.
