Role Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will be responsible for providing a high level of customer service through the safe, efficient and timely delivery and pick up of Brickworks products across Southeast Queensland. Daily interactions will occur with customers, subcontractors, members of the transport and sales team. Duties include, but are not limited to: Approach each task with a focus on safety; Load and unload trucks; Transport materials to and from specified destinations such as construction building sites, retail stores, plants, residences, offices, or within industrial yards; Inspect and maintain vehicle supplies and equipment, such as oil, water, tyres, lights, or brakes; Maintain records for goods delivered or loaded including signed POD's; Verify the contents of loads against delivery dockets; and Maintain records, such as vehicle logs, records of cargo, in accordance with COR or NHVR regulations. Success Requirements: Current Crane Licence (CV Licence) and/or Forklift licence (LF). Current HR/HC License (minimum). Construction industry White card (or equivalent). Experience in delivery of building products (desirable). Excellent customer service skills. Good knowledge of Southeast Queensland road networks. Ability to prioritise tasks. Strong problem-solving skills. Great presentation. Good time management & organisational skills.
