Seeking HR Administrator to provide a range of administrative tasks to assist in the delivery of human resources functions. Contract role till February 2024 with possible extension. Hourly pay rate of $45.30/hour Super. Hybrid work arrangement (2 days WFH 3 days at the Canberra Office). Immediate start. PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: As a part of your role, you will be responsible for providing a range of administrative support to the Strategic Workforce Planning team and Staff Engagement and Development teams. Under the general direction of the Manager of Strategic Workforce Planning, you will work collaboratively to complete a range of administrative tasks to assist in the delivery of human resources functions, service providers, and stakeholders, to support the delivery of quality financial management services. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Provision of support to the Senior Staffing Advisers and Staffing Adviser to ensure timely and accurate advice is provided to internal clients (management and staff), concerning the employee life cycle including attraction, retention, recruitment and selection, and subsequent employment variations. Provide a range of high level confidential administrative support to the Executive Branch Manager and People and Culture Branch, including proactive management of the diary, arranging and scheduling appointments and meetings, screening telephone calls, and ensuring emails and enquiries are dealt with promptly and efficiently. Undertake processes relating to recruitment, employment variations, and remuneration, including liaison with Shared Services to ensure that electronic and paper file records are managed appropriately. Preparation of casual teacher employment processes ensuring compliance with Institute requirements. Attend and prepare associated documents for a range of People and Culture meetings and working groups. Assist in the administration of learning and development sessions which may include managing bookings, calendar invites, attendee lists, and liaising with the facilitator. Provide high-quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders by disseminating information about relevant programs and projects. Support other teams within by performing other duties, consistent with the classification of the position, as required. Contribute to multiple project outcomes by performing administrative tasks, maintaining systems and databases, records management, data collection, and reporting. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience in a similar administration position and/or in the Australian or ACT Public Service is highly desirable. Experience using information systems (such as Chris21 and BANNER) is highly desirable. Experience in provision of human resource services and practices particularly in relation to recruitment and the employment life cycle.
