Job reference: 7233 Brand: Western Diagnostic Pathology Location: 1 Sabre Crescent, Jandakot WA 6164 (WDP Pathology) Work type: Part Time (Permanent) hours per week Schedule: We are currently seeking a full-time Accounts and Administration Officer to work 76 hours per fortnight, Monday to Friday and Public Holidays, as required. About us Vetpath (part of Western Diagnostic Pathology, Healius Pathology) is a specialist veterinary laboratory dedicated to providing a quality diagnostic pathology service to veterinarians. The service offers a wide range of veterinary testing, including biochemistry and haematology, microbiology, endocrinology, serology, histopathology and cytology. Vetpath is part of the national Specialist Veterinary Services (SVS) Pathology Network with Vetpath Laboratory Services being the state-based point of service in WA within a national network. About the role Generation of veterinary client invoicing and statements Issue payments and follow-up debtors. Answering account queries Maintain and complete accounts payable ledger including for month end close, Prepare banking documentation for payment transactions Assist with completing month end journals, bank reconciliations and financial reports for the business. Preparation and issue of monthly client accounts. Review accuracy of information required for all financial transactions on an ongoing basis About you To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including: Previous experience in a similar role Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word and Excel Excellent organisational and time management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail and ability to perform work with a high degree of precision and accuracy Experience using MYOB or similar accounting software .
