Dealer Trained Technicians. Permanent Positions. European and Japanese makes and models. Light & Heavy vehicles We are looking for experienced and dealer trained Auto Electricians & Motor Mechanics with European and Japanese made vehicles (light & heavy) and 4WDs experience for our clients in the Hunter Region. Singleton, Cessnock & Muswellbrook, Newcastle, NSW. In this role you will be: Servicing and tuning of vehicles (as per factory required standards) Diagnostic tracing of fault codes and repair of traced fault Dismantling of engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms and other component for rebuilding or repair. Realigning and adjusting brakes, wheel laser alignment Attending to general vehicle maintenance and repairs as requested by customers, including removal and replacement of worn components Auto electricians must be able to install, maintain, identify faults and repair electrical wiring and computer-based equipment in motor vehicles and related equipment, such as caravans, trailers, earthmoving equipment and agricultural equipment Testing of vehicle under driving conditions after repairs have been completed The successful applicants must have: - A current Motor Mechanic Trade Certificate or equivalent - A minimum of 3 years full time work experience - Knowledge and experience in servicing and maintenance of European and Japanese made vehicles as well as other vehicles (Including 4WDs & trucks) - Good diagnostic skills on specific brands - Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment and under pressure - Good organisational skills - Ability to work as part of a team - Manufacturer training and experience is essential We will consider skilled, experienced and company/dealer trained technicians ONLY and the shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
