JOB SUMMARY: As a part of the specialised Structured Finance Group, administer the customer service, portfolio and monthly reporting for the Cat Mining Finance Asia Pacific ("CMFAP") business. Support related operational functions of CMFAP as required to ensure the overall success of the business. Work with internal and external Resource Industry customers and stakeholders to ensure a high level of Customer Experience. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities vary but may include various combinations of the following duties: - Managing payment collections, dishonours and modification requests - Achieve and maintain CMFAP past due targets across the region including exposure in ANZ, Southeast Asia and across multiple currencies and legal entities. - Apply daily cash movements from the bank statement, direct debits and unapplied suspense. - Issue daily tax invoices both system and manually generated to customers and maintains the manual tax invoice register for bilateral and committed equipment finance facilities - Manage Accounts Payable administration and functions for vendor payments. - Responds to general customer requests including calculating interest paid, account reconciliation, payment queries, loan balance confirmations, creating amortization schedules and providing copies of customer legal agreements. - Calculate contract payouts for all financial product types and communicate them to the customer, ensuring accuracy of calculations, accounting data and timely processing. - Maintains and processes all end of term contracts including balloon and residual refinances, lease extensions, sale of machines and payouts. - Administer PPSR registrations and cancellations. - Assists auditors with annual customer balance confirmation requests. - Records and maintains incoming payment register, processes customer refunds and perform required Two Factor Authentication for new payees. - Perform post settlement audits on all new contract documents. - Perform general account maintenance and administration requirements. - Processes all machine returns or repossessions and maintains appropriate inventory controls. Prepare all month-end reporting for local approval and submission to Risk Management including Past Dues, Prolonged Financial Difficulty, Potential Credit Losses, Modifications and Restructures. In addition, provide high level reporting in relation to Intercompany Guarantees, Contingent Liabilities, Customer and Country Exposures and general Portfolio Balances across the region. Support and work closely with the sales team and transaction coordinators in Australia and the region in performance of duties. Work to develop relationships with Caterpillar dealers, Account Managers, Customers and other internal Business Units. Participate and drive Continuous Improvement objectives for the department utilising "Lean" or "Six Sigma" methodologies to identify and develop solutions. JOB REQUIREMENTS: SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND KNOWLEDGE: Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint and other O365 software. A high level of written and verbal communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines. Experience with corporate ERP and CRM systems such as Oracle, Capital Stream, T-value and Salesforce. Knowledge of financing principles and products, customer services concepts and techniques. Understanding of basic accounting principles and the ability to verify accuracy and completeness of such information. Knowledge of and the ability to apply data collection and analysis skills. Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner to administer CMFAP accounts including collection of outstanding payments and resolution of account related matters. Ability to learn and gain a thorough understanding of the business; seek knowledge and experience to benefit current and future performance. Ability to nurture strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders and work efficiently guided by the priorities set by management. Ability to learn, understand and adhere to company policies and procedures. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A tertiary qualification in any of the business disciplines is an advantage and/or a minimum of 5 years work experience in a related role or similar industry.
