Help us make energy better About the role: The Head of Third Party & Sales Performance is accountable for the sales results for Third Party Channels in relation to both East and West Coast residential sales, setting the strategic and operational approach to sales and delivering through the sales team. This role will ensure that focus and efforts of the team are directed towards profitable and sustainable growth, targeted acquisition of key customer segments (with higher CLV) for Alinta Retail, while managing CTA. In this role, you’ll be: Providing strategic leadership and direction to the team to increase sales and revenue, market penetration, optimise efficiency, engagement and satisfaction Support a high-performance, customer-centric team culture, building organisational capability by focusing on staff development and succession Providing advice on new or emerging third party distribution opportunities, in line with Alinta Energy customer strategy Ensuring data and insights from third party channel and customer interactions are utilised to inform future channel, product and engagement strategies Effectively using customer data and insight to continually enhance the customer experience and sales outcomes, better target specific segments and identify new distribution opportunities Ideally, you’ll bring to the role: Tertiary degree in marketing, business, or a related field Demonstrated experience in leading sales teams in a complex market environment, preferably within the energy industry Demonstrated experience in leading channel business development and management Significant experience in a sales leadership role with a demonstrated knowledge of market triggers affecting the business Superior stakeholder management Demonstrated record of successfully driving sales and business plans through a multi-channel businesses as well as the implementation of effective sales and service processes and capability programs This role would be best suited to someone who is both an exceptional sales leader and has demonstrated success in the implementation of consistent communication strategies to facilitate growth across diverse channels.
