About the role We are seeking a self-motivated and experienced electrician to carry out maintenance and testing of 240V smoke detectors, as well as some 9V battery powered detectors and test and replace RCDs in residential properties. Work is primarily located in Newcastle with some travel to surrounding areas. Your day-to-day You will start your day from home to your first appointment, using our in-house built app to track your bookings an record all the relevant job information. Each inspection can vary between 10-30 minutes to ensure a property is safe and compliant, whilst travel time between appointments can vary. What you'll bring Electrical licence Valid driver's licence Excellent communication and organisational skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service Comfortable in using modern technology such as iPhone, tablets & applications Display a safety-orientated focus and risk aversion Ability to solve problems and offer solutions Please note : Safety comes first at Detector Inspector, as a pre-requisite candidates will be required to complete a National Police Clearance and a Pre-employment Physical Assessment.
