About the Role As the Project Engineer, you will participate in all stages of the project lifecycle, including proposal development, detailed design and project execution where you will contribute to technical feasibility studies, value engineering, cost development and strategic planning for the Renewable Energy market. As the successful candidate you will have significant opportunity for career growth as a critical member of the Renewable Energy team. Your duties will include: managing multi-discipline team, primarily based overseas, during proposal development and project engineering execution. develop subconsultant contract documents/requirements across multiple disciplines and manages subconsultant design engineering in accordance with the developed DOR. provide leadership and inspire performance of the project engineering team and subconsultants. provide technical insight and value engineering during development of engineering designs. responsible for attaining high quality of engineering deliverables. other duties as required. What You Bring: degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or other similar engineering experience, participating in planning, developing and executing Solar Farms, Wind Farms, Battery Storage Systems, substations or other relevant projects. experience in pre-feasibility, feasibility, FEED, preliminary and detailed design, and support to construction and commissioning. knowledge of elements of Solar Farm and Wind Farm project development. strong knowledge of the AEMO grid connection process as well as experience with connections to private networks. familiarity with Australian TNSP design requirements and the Australian EPC market for electrical infrastructure.
