Come and join us in making a meaningful difference today Job Description Purpose As the Apprenticeship Field Officer – Kalgoorlie, you will have full control of your region with a focus on delivering/exceeding on your assigned Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This includes: Demonstrating an understanding and interest in apprenticeship and traineeship contracts and how these opportunities benefit our local employers and economy ( Training to be provided re: apprenticeship and traineeship contracts ) Overseeing the sign-up process between employer, registered training organisations and our apprentices/trainees Identifying and capitalising on apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities This role includes a vehicle, allowing you to attend sites to build and deliver on apprenticeship and traineeship opportunities. Being on-the-road will allow you to present and represent at various forums, along with the ability to manage your day-to-day operations with a primary focus on meeting/exceeding your KPI’s. You will have ownership of your role, but with support and guidance from your Apprenticeship Field Officer (AFO) Manager & wider AFO team scattered across Western Australia. Desired Skills and Experience A little about you … Sound experience delivering in a sales environment A valid and open Australian Driver's Licence Ability to work to/exceed KPIs An interest in mentoring our youth into sustainable employment Strong emotional intelligence and resilience A genuine desire to make a difference in someone's life through employment An understanding of how diversity and inclusion initiatives can be applied in the workplace Desirable: previous experience in apprenticeships or within a training, VET, employment or recruitment setting What can we offer you?
