Location: Magdalene Catholic College, Narellan A permanent full time position commencing 30 January 2024. The successful applicant will be required to teach subjects with the TAS faculty. The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning for students to reach their full potential. ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church. Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L. Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning. Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in various TAS subjects across all stages Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning. Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community. DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA Aptitude and willingness to contribute to the broader life of Magdalene Catholic College whilst supporting the TAS Faculty and what it offers the College Qualified and enthusiastic to teach various TAS subjects e.g. Stage 4 Technology Mandatory, Stage 5 Industrial Technology Timber. The ability to teach Religious Education and/or Studies of Religion 1 and/or II. GENERAL CAPABILITIES Well-developed interpersonal skills Well-developed oral and written communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Strong organisational skills QUALIFICATIONS Appropriate qualifications for teaching a variety of courses across the TAS Faculty The applicant must be accredited to teach with NESA.
