Gain a Cert in Conservation and Ecosystem Management on a Paid Traineeship Job Description Envite Environment is seeking nine people interested in starting a career in bush regeneration / horticulture / ecosystem management. You will undertake a full time 18 week paid traineeship: Gain a Certificate 1 in Conservation and Ecosystem Management Gain accredited training in Senior First Aid, White Card, ACDC Chemical Operators Certificate, and Operate and maintain chainsaws and fell small trees. Undertake practical work in bush regeneration, plant propagation, tree planting, track maintenance and other tasks aligned with your training . Receive assistance to gain work following the traineeship. This Skilling Queenslanders for Work (SQW) project is proudly funded and supported by the Queensland Government. Disadvantaged jobseekers are able to access assistance under SQW. This traineeship is an entry-level role aimed at individuals interested in work in the conservation and ecosystem management industry. It allows individuals to develop skills and knowledge to prepare for work. Trainees will undertake work activities in the Gold Coast and Numinbah Valley area based from Nerang. Work will be undertaken at PCYC Bornhoffen Leadership Development Centre, Queensland National Parks, David Fleay Wildlife Park, Seqwater Hinze Dam area and catchment and Nerang Country Paradise Parklands. Work activities include native plant propagation, tree planting, bush regeneration, wildlife enclosure and walking track maintenance.
