DRA are currently looking for Structural Designers - All levels. The roles will be offered on a full-time or ongoing casual basis based in our Brisbane CBD office. You will be involved with a diverse range of projects from concept studies, detailed design, procurement, construction, commissioning within the mining and minerals processing sector. Brief Duties Produce models and detailed technical drawings, in accordance with standards, policies and procedures Communicate with the project team, provide updates, raise issues and attend team meetings Deliver and contribute to practical solutions Ensure project time and cost are met - monitor effectiveness of designs, scheduling of work, resource requirements and review compliance with project execution plan (schedule) and client expectations Provide technical guidance and leadership to junior team members Demonstrate high standard of personal safety and safe design practices About You 5 years relevant experience working on mining and minerals projects Well-developed communication skills (written and verbal) Excellent attitude, team focus and commitment towards safety Proficiency in MicroStation design software highly desirable Relevant Diploma or Associate Degree advantageous Innovative thinker with the ability to work autonomously to deadlines Here at DRA, we offer: Competitive market rates Regular market analysis of remuneration A collaborative and supportive team environment with all the tools to succeed The opportunity to work alongside engineering and design excellence DRA supports diversity and inclusion within our workplace and we encourage applicants from all sectors of the community to apply.
