We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Manager to join our client's well-cultured team at their facility based in the Northern suburbs of Geelong. In this role, you will play a critical role in not only the proper storage, handling, and distribution of goods. Job Description: As a Warehouse Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of their warehouse. Your responsibilities will include: Supervise and manage warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, and shipping. Utilize your forklift license and experience with pallet racking to handle inventory efficiently and safely. Maintain a strong focus on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) by implementing and enforcing safety protocols. Manage stock control, including regular stocktakes and ordering to meet customer demands while minimizing excess inventory. Demonstrate proven leadership skills by leading, motivating, and developing a team of warehouse staff. Utilize problem-solving skills to address operational challenges and implement process improvements. Hold a First Aid certification (desirable) to ensure prompt response to any workplace incidents. To be considered we are looking to speak with applicants who can display the following skills, experience and attributes; Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or in a similar leadership role. Forklift license and hands-on experience with pallet racking. Strong OHS focus and knowledge of safety regulations. Proficiency in stock control, ordering, and inventory management. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. First Aid certification (desirable). Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced setting. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
