About Your Next Opportunity Sullivan Nicolaides Pathology now has an opportunity for a full -time Pathology Services Assistant to join their dynamic data entry and administration team in their newly refurbished Lismore Laboratory, located within St Vincent’s Private Hospital, Lismore. Some of the more specific responsibilities of the position will be to: Registration into the Apollo LIS Data processing, receiving and sorting Preparation, registration and distribution of pathology samples Batching and preparation of specimens for transport Data entry and communication with patients and referrers Shifts are Monday to Friday, with inclusion in the Saturday roster. About You In this role, you will be enthusiastic, possess good communication and organisational skills, and will have the ability to work as part of a busy and multi-tasked team. Crucial to your success is a high level of commitment to customer service, laboratory turnaround times and accuracy of processing. ​​The successful applicant will possess knowledge of medical terminology, specimen processing, data entry experience, and communication skills.
