Working with an impressive brand in the Retail sector, this role is suited to Business Analyst's who come with Supply Chain knowledge and experience We have a new opportunity available for a motivated Business Analyst who comes from a Retail industry background to come in and act as a liaison between business stakeholders and the technology teams for this leading Retail powerhouse. Working for one of Australia’s leading Retail organisations , we’re seeking a Business Analyst who has a background working in Supply Chain areas who understands the business drivers in this core area, with the ability to support the company who are embarking on upgrading their Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and their Supply Chain operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for building a good understanding of specific Supply Chain business needs, determining and documenting accurate requirements from business units and Distribution Centers (DC’s), and interfacing and working in line with the technology teams and external vendors. This is a Business Analysis position that requires you to come from a background working across a variety of Supply Chain and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), so that you’re comfortable acting as the bridge between technical teams, Supply Chain & Logistics teams, and business stakeholders, and we are open to considering BA’s who have experience with a variety of Merchandise Planning systems, or Retail inventory management systems where you could come in and contribute depending on your background and your areas of focus when it comes to these core systems and domain areas that you may have worked with over the years. Day to day responsibilities: Business process mapping for on-going requirements. Working in conjunction with the Technology teams, Business Systems Lead’s, and Supply Chain SME’s, acting as the main liaison for business analysis type work. Facilitate AS-IS – TO-BE process analysis and documentation activities. Impart your knowledge of the Supply Chain and Retail sector, suggesting ideas for best practice and improvements when it comes to system enhancement and upgrade initiatives. Lead and facilitate stakeholder and User workshops. Provide ongoing input into functional and technical design and support coordination of system configuration delivery activities. Testing system changes and collaboration with business teams on user acceptance testing. Work with internal business divisions, Supply Chain SME’s and technical teams to provide transitional processes that align and work towards the agreed TO-BE processes. Liaise and integrate with technology teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment between technical & functional specifications and business objectives. Skills & experience required: Business Analysis experience working in the Supply Chain, Logistics, Inventory planning or Retail industry. Extensive Business Analysis experience working across the full technology spectrum for Supply Chain or Retail business systems and platform upgrades, enhancements, and implementations. Brining an understanding of Supply Chain, Logistics, Warehouse Management systems or Inventory planning domain areas will enhance your overall success in this role. Proven experience working with Business stakeholders, Technology Teams & Supply Chain subject matter experts (SME’s) to ensure technical specifications are aligned to business goals, business needs and stakeholders expectations. Excellent process & data mapping skills. Strong communication skills in being able to deal with stakeholders of all levels in a customer facing environment. Excellent time management and prioritising abilities with a passion for delivering a meaningful project outcome.
