About Your New Role: Australian Unity€™s Home Care Service provides culturally appropriate home and community services to people throughout New South Wales by providing domestic assistance, personal care and social support/transportation within their homes. As a Community Transport Driver you will be required to transport clients to and from their own homes, facilities or any areas required by the client / business enhancing the door to door service we offer. You will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle and the safety of the passengers on-board. Care workers will often travel on-board with you along with the client. This position is to be based in Bourke €“ NSW 2840 , travel will be required within this area and surrounding suburbs. It is a Permanent Part-Time opportunity working 25 hours per week . About You: Adhere to health and safety guidelines and policies to keep yourself and our clients safe A valid NSW Driver's license and you must have been driving for longer than 24 months Ensuring passengers are transported safely and comfortably between destinations Adhere to organisational maintenance of the vehicle, safety policies and procedures and take all precautions to prevent damage to vehicle About Your Offer: At Australian Unity, you will have an exceptional opportunity to make a difference through the care and service that you provide to our clients, to make their lives better.
