Not only does our work improve the lives of millions, from lighting up sports fields, schools and homes, to powering the wheels of commerce and everything else in between, we are also leading the transition to a clean energy future - and you can be a part of it.Job description:About the opportunity You'll be contributing to the success of our EnergyConnect project which is an energy infrastructure project that will enable greater sharing of electricity between NSW, Victoria and South Australia for the first time. You can learn more about this project on our website. You will work a roster that includes being based at the project site - you will receive an allowance on top of your salary to pay for accommodation etc. whilst you are there. Project locations include Buronga, Dinawan and Wagga Wagga. This is a great opportunity for a Project Engineer to be involved firsthand in a major energy project. About you You could be either an experienced Project Engineer or someone who is at the earlier stages of their Project Engineer career and is willing to learn. You'll need to be committed to health and safety and be comfortable working a roster that includes being based at the project site. You will also have: Technical knowledge in the construction of substation or transmission line assets (or transferable experience) A degree qualification in Electrical or Civil Engineering (or something similar) Proven experience of working autonomously Strong skills in communication and report writing, personal integrity and professionalism Experience in the management of construction contracts A current Drivers Licence Recognition & Reward In return for your hard work, we have numerous benefits and initiatives to support you personally and professionally including but not limited to private health insurance discount, motor vehicle lease plan, career development support, study assistance program and workplace flexibility.
