As our client continues to grow, they are seeking a loyal and motivated mid-senior Legal Assistant to join their supportive and friendly conveyancing team. Job Description: As a Legal Assistant you will play an important role in supporting the Conveyancing department, and ensuring their clients are supported throughout the property transfer process. Expect something different each day: Assisting with the preparation and review of legal documents related to property transactions, letters and contracts. Coordinating communication between clients, real estate agents, lenders, and other parties involved in transactions. Processing invoices, monthly billing and reporting Opening and closing matters, conducting conflict searches and ASIC and property searches Managing the scheduling of appointments, closings, and meetings. Providing administrative support to the Conveyancing team as needed. To be successful in this role: Previous experience in conveyancing, at least 2 years PEXA settlement experience Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using legal software and office tools. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
