About the role. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Legal Officer to join our high performing and collaborative team on an ongoing basis Reporting into the Principal Legal Officer, you will be assisting with the provision of timely and professional advice and other support to stakeholders on a broad range of legal, legislative and policy issues. You will also undertake legal and policy analysis, including assisting with the formulation and evaluation of legislative proposals. To learn more about the role please review the Role Description. You will have experience and expertise in one or more relevant areas of law and generalist legal skills: environmental law, trade practices law, commercial law and/or public law (in particular, constitutional, or administrative law). You will have legal qualifications, and admission or eligibility for admission as a legal practitioner to the Supreme Court of NSW. You’re adaptable, resilient, and agile and can maintain a high level of professionalism when communicating with team members and other stakeholders You’re able to manage multiple tasks with competing timeframes, set priorities, meet deadlines and work as part of a small team.
