For further information please go to : www.baybuildinggroup.com.au About the Role The Major Loss & Specialty Supervisor is primarily responsible for the timely delivery of jobs, within budget, for our respective clients. Preparing project schedules and ensuring that site safety is compliant, you will employ repair methodology whilst building and maintain lasting relationships with Loss Adjusters and our Clients alike. Key Activities (include but are not limited to): Lead input into repair methodology and deliver timely works completion outcomes Organise, schedule, budget and forecast allocated projects to meet planned completion dates Promote a safe and WHS compliant workplace Quality assurance Strong focus on client service level requirements and delivery time frames Liaise with all stakeholders ensuring efficient communication and regular updates Qualifications: Drivers License and Construction Induction Card Trade qualified Certificate IV in Construction (highly desirable) Key Skills and Capabilities: Experience in domestic and commercial project management across multiple sites Understanding of relevant Building codes and Australian standards and State legislation Experience working directly with clients, building consultants, trades and suppliers Thorough understanding of the construction process, critical inspection points, permits and WHS requirements. Estimation skills would be advantageous Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work autonomously Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Office MS Project and Excel programs Why join us?
