THE ROLE: Sketch any new styles that are added in after buy meetings and throughout the season. Set up style numbers and file all relevant details for the relevant season Complete range boards for range meetings Preparation for range meetings and buy meetings, ensure samples, image references and mood board are ready Ensure all preparation for VM Handover meetings is completed prior to scheduled meetings. Sample maintenance Photograph, steam and hang all samples purchased overseas and locally Ordering & chasing seasonal Campaign & PR samples WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR: 1-2 years' experience in a Design or Buying Assistant role or similar A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent (preferred) Prior Women's Fashion Apparel experience (preferred) Proficient in Adobe Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop Understanding of graphic textile print also desirable Demonstrated hand sketching ability Proficient computer literacy skills including competency with Microsoft Office (Excel & Word) Ability to work in fast paced environment and manage time effectively Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work well under pressure Be analytical, have excellent accuracy and attention to detail Strong communication and interpersonal skills Happy to work onsite in our St Kilda offices 5 days per week.
