Casual Environmental Volunteer Support Officer (Bushcare) $41.95 p/hr 25% casual loading Working with Children Check (willing to apply) Experience required Located 16 kilometres north of the Sydney CBD, the Ku-ring-gai area covers 84km2, is home to 124,000 residents and set in one of New South Wales’ most attractive natural environments. An experienced bush regenerator required as an Environmental Volunteer Support Officer to join the Strategy and Environment team on a casual basis. Both weekday and weekend shifts are available. Reporting to the Environmental Volunteer Programs Coordinator, your duties will include, but are not limited to: Undertake supervision and training of environmental volunteers Implement WH&S systems Maintain records and reporting Assist with various environmental programs and events Provide a high level of customer service in responding to requests and complaints in a courteous manner Required experience & skills: Certificate III Conservation & Land Management or other tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and / or substantial work experience in a similar capacity First Aid Certificate A Current Class C driver’s license Chemical accreditation (AQF-3) Working with Children Check How to apply: Applicants are requested to address all Essential Criteria as listed within the Position Description to be eligible for an interview.
