The Role We are seeking a Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Administration Trainee to support our Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager for the Murray Basin Rail Project based out of Port Melbourne. This role will undertake various administrative related tasks where you will have the opportunity to learn all aspects of administration in the Communications & Stakeholder Engagement team and be given a solid pathway to an Advisor role. This is a true development opportunity and will see you create a path for yourself within the Rail industry. we offer a supportive path with strong leadership, the opportunity for you to complete your Certificate IV in Business Administration whilst working and earning a full-time income. The Project As part of the Big Build, the Murray Basin Rail Project will deliver important upgrades to Victoria’s rail freight network to meet increasing demand for freight services. The project will drive economic growth, create jobs and provide a major boost to the transport industry, agricultural sector and regional communities. The Murray Basin Rail Project will deliver key benefits for primary producers and freight operators including increased capacity, improved network reliability and resilience, and reduced journey times. The project includes track upgrades, new sidings, signalling upgrades and passing loop construction. Required Skills and Competencies Required Skills and Competencies As this is a Trainee role, no previous relevant work experience is required.
