Description Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Supply Chain Administrator who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide range of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Brisbane, Australia. About the Position The Supply Chain Administrator will support the SC function in achieving Hitachi Rail cash flow objectives through the timely booking of services delivered to the projects that align with project schedules and critical milestones. Accountabilities: Ensure materials expediting is aligned with the project schedule agreed with relevant suppliers. Prepare shipping documentation in alignment with the dates agreed with supply chain planners. Review, process, and monitor claims from subcontractors and service providers for services performed on projects. Cultivate effective working relationships with suppliers, ensuring on-time payments to suppliers for outstanding and future claims. Operation & Maintenance (O&M) support - ensure accurate and relevant parts information is available on a timely basis. Required Skills/Knowledge: 2 years' experience in a similar role in a project driven environment. Effective internal and external stakeholder management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Well organised and able to multi-task. Resourceful, flexible, and self-motivated. Advanced MS Excel skills. Ideally some experience using SAP.
