A Mid-Senior Ruby on Rails Developer will be responsible for the following: Develop and maintain new features, modules, and integrations for our Navigate CMS Write clean, maintainable, testable, and well-documented code that adheres to the best practises and coding standards i-Motor follows. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the software's reliability and performance. Perform code reviews frequently to ensure that the code meets the expectations and standards and approve them. Regularly perform application deployments and handle any associated issues. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to Ruby on Rails development and share the knowledge with the team. Qualifications The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following: Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails developer. In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience in Ruby programming and Ruby on Rails framework. Good experience with GraphQL, RSpec, Sidekiq, and Docker tools Proven experience with creating and consuming APIs, XMLs & JSONs Proficiency in working with relational databases such as MySQL, MariaDB etc. and writing efficient SQL queries. You have a strong hand in providing the backend solutions, though you have a great understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript Solid understanding of the object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
