Learn more http://thiess.com/makeyourmark About the role - Diesel Fitters As our next Diesel Fitter reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results. Perform servicing, repairs and maintenance of the fleet in the workshop and in the field. Maintain fleets of Cat D10T/D10T2/D11T/D11 Dozers, Cat 18/24M/24 Graders, Cat 992K Loaders, Cat 789C/789D/793F, Komatsu 930E-5 and Liebherr T282C Dump Trucks. Follow work instructions and complete all paperwork to a high standard ensuring a safe work environment. About the role - Auto Electricians As an Auto Electrician Reporting into the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high-quality solutions and results Perform the servicing, repair and maintenance of mobile mining equipment in accordance with Thiess servicing and maintenance procedures Complete general maintenance, breakdowns, services and component change outs to a high regard Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins, OEM and computer-based systems Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained at all times Conduct required inspections to maximise equipment utilisation Running data, power, radio and GPS antenna cables through bulkhead, panels and access both inside and outside production equipment compartments on heavy mining machinery Provide high-quality installations including mountings, wiring and testing of equipment Perform basic configuration of 802.11b/g wireless networks Investigate and resolve faults, and carry out preventative maintenance routines on FMS and machine guidance systems fitted onto Excavators, Dozers, Drills, Trucks, Graders and Light Vehicles Ensure all activities are completed in a safe manner Desired Candidate Profile Trade Certificate in Diesel Fitting or Auto Electrician or equivalent, Australian Qualifications will be highly regarded. 3 years post-trade experience working in the Mining or Heavy Earth Moving industry Experience in General Maintenance, Breakdowns, Component Change Outs and Servicing of Heavy Earth Moving Equipment Demonstrated experience Cat, Komatsu and/or Liebherr HME Must meet basic English language testing requirements Must have a valid passport Why work for Thiess Australia?
