Job Description Join our dynamic team at the Perth Airport laboratory, where we provide analytical testing services. We are committed to ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our contracted laboratory, delivering accurate results, and meeting our customers' expectations. As a Sample Administrator, you will play a crucial role in our laboratory operation, ensuring the timely registration and processing of samples. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to: Registering all samples by the end of the day and queuing them for analysis. Enrolling samples in LIMS1 and SOPHIA, working towards “superuser” for these systems. Meeting customer expectations in terms of turnaround time and analytical result quality. Maintaining sample traceability both internally and externally. Assisting with the supply of sampling kits/equipment to customer sites. Handling customer inquiries and confirming analysis requirements with clients when necessary. Applying technical knowledge to the appropriate registration parameters within the lab database. Maintain consumable stock levels. Providing general support to the Operations Manager. Exercise effective cost control for the provision of the Contract Goods and Services. Qualifications Relevant Technical School qualifications or tertiary studies. Demonstrated experience in handling Petrochemical, Gas, or Chemical Products. Proficient computer software literacy.
