We bring brands to life The opportunity:We are on the lookout for our newly created Creative Director – Customer Experience & Store Design to join our Property team based at our Richmond Support Office Reporting directly to the Group Leasing Manager, the Creative Director – Customer Experience & Store Design is responsible for defining and implementing the design identity across our retail brands to ensure store design supports and enhances the brand and customer experience. The Retail Design Manager will be at the forefront of design and innovation trends. Key duties and responsibilities: Manage the design process & architectural implementation from inception to delivery across all retail brands to create retail environments that deliver innovative and cutting edge customer experiences. Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create design briefs ensuring the design supports and enhances the brand, marketing, merchandising, store operations and customer experience. This includes designing floorplans, shop layouts, and detailed presentation decks. Where appropriate, work in collaboration with design firms to develop concepts. Spearhead and manage the design process and continually iterate by translating key business learnings. Support Senior Managers and General Managers in setting project timelines, budgets and prototype development. Manage samples, finishes and fixture design for new and ongoing concepts. Creating the best possible experience for our customers Understanding our brand identities and consumer behaviours Create concepts and ideas for new store design. Key duties and Responsibilities Passion for design, creativity, and innovation. Degree in architecture, interior or industrial design preferred. Minimum 10 years in retail design, store planning, architectural prototype design, or architectural project management. Store design and project management experience required. Experience in AutoCAD and Revit Strong business management skills and demonstrated ability to create and lead projects. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively. Experience in Strong understanding of design principles, trends, and the creative process.
