We are seeking a Senior Advisor to join our Capability Design Team to design, deliver, and continually improve programs and initiatives that enable sector-wide capability uplift with a particular focus on HR and People Manager capabilities. About the team The Capability Design team builds the public service of the future through the design, delivery and evaluation of innovative workforce frameworks, enabling resources and sector-wide capability uplift strategies. About the role As a Senior Advisor in the Capability Design Team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development and delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, innovative, and relevant capability development programs and solutions that uplift sector-wide employee capability. What You'll Be Doing Scoping and conducting needs analysis, undertaking research and co-designing capability uplift programs with sector subject matter experts Designing and implementing solutions that enable People managers to develop skills to optimise team performance. Designing and delivering capability uplift learning programs to build strategic capability of sector HR professionals. Measuring the effectiveness of learning programs and initiatives that address HR and People Manager capability gaps and developmental needs. Supporting the delivery of programs and initiatives aligned to PSC’s Strategic Focus Area of building Capability for high performance . Supporting strategic and operational improvement projects across the Workforce Strategy and Capability Branch. What you bring to the role: Ability to translate strategic objectives into effective learning interventions. Extensive knowledge and understanding of best practice and research informed frameworks and practices relevant to HR and People Management capabilities. Experience translating conceptual theories and knowledge into relatable, contextualised, and digestible content tailored to diverse audiences. Experience in running workshops, presenting, and facilitating in person and virtual sessions. Exceptional stakeholder engagement capabilities To find out more, view the Role Description .
