The OpportunityAn exciting opportunity has opened for a motivated and experienced warehouse team leader to join our cold store PM Shift. Overseeing and assisting the team with the nightly operational activities ensuring an efficient and smooth shift completion. This fast-paced role is accountable for the timely movement, quality receipt, dispatch and data capture of all freight movements through our cold store warehouse facility in Forrestfield. We have a proud history and place safety in our workplace first.WHY US?Fast paced where no two days are the same.Strong safety 1st culture Supportive friendly team working environment,Long term permanent position with strong career progression potential WA Owned and operated family Business where you are not just a number.Weekly Pay Cycle Responsibilities Allocation of PM nightly activities across the team Assisting with the receiving, storing, staging and loading of all stock in and out Ensuring Pan Loading is in accordance with COR requirements and legislation. Manage the teams rest breaks times and durations Check MHE prestart are fully and correctly completed Identifying any issues arising from discrepancies in paperwork (Load plans, Manifest Con Notes) and liaising with relevant stakeholder/s to rectify.Ensure employees paperwork is fully and correctly completed and signed off and holding employees accountable on their paperwork quality & compliance. Up managing and reporting non-conformance to management. Demonstrating safe work practices and maintain a safe working environment.Skills & Experience Demonstrated safety and compliance focus.Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a Team Leader position preferably in perishable goods warehousing or refrigerated transportSolid experience in warehousing and transport industry processes, preferably in perishable goods storage and refrigerated transportWorksafe high risk forklift licenceStrong communication and interpersonal skills.Excellent attention to detail. Excellent time management & multi-tasking skills.The ability to work in cold room environments.The ideal candidate?The ideal candidate will have a positive can-do attitude and strong people and leadership skills with the ability to articulate through excellent verbal and written communication skills.
