The Company… The company is a well-established and busy Medical Centre based in Geelong, providing a diverse range of healthcare services including General Practice, Podiatry, Psychology, Audiology, Dietetics and Occupational Therapy. The current team is a cohesive and professional group of health and administrative professionals that works together to achieve the best outcomes for all. There are now offering a number of Medical Receptionist positions to assist with the day-to-day operations of a busy medical centre. The Position… The position on offer is a Medical Receptionist role that requires an enthusiastic and motivated person who is committed to exceptional customer service and patient care, and keen to support the clinic’s General Practitioners and Allied Health team. The clinic provides a fast-paced working environment where there never is a dull moment. If you enjoy variety in your work then this role is for you. You must have the flexibility to assist with additional extra hours in order to help cover annual/ personal leave (maybe the occasional weekend). There are three roles on offer, including: 2x Permanent p art-time positions with a minimum of 46 hours per fortnight, and the possibility of additional hours; and 1x C asual role, available for the right candidate. Specific d uties and responsibilities for these roles include (but are not limited to): Welcome and assist patients with queries and appointments Answer and respond to telephone queries in a courteous and professional manner Accurately process patient payments via cash, EFTPOS, and direct bill transactions At all times maintain confidentiality of patient personal and financial information Support the day-to-day operations of the medical center Support the provision of accurate and timely financial and practice data Liaising with doctors, staff and other allied health professionals Process daily banking and batching Managing correspondence internal / external The Ideal Candidate… The ideal candidate must have the following: General Practice reception experience (desirable) Proficient computer skills - knowledge of Best Practice software is an advantage Exceptional customer service and value working in a team Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to empathize with patients Must be reliable and flexible Attention to detail Kind and respectful Bring your "A" game smile and friendliness The Benefits An attractive salary package will be offered to the suitable applicant/s.
