The Role: The Calibration Engineer is responsible for providing technical expertise, on the calibration and testing of a wide variety of equipment used within the Electricity Industry, to internal and external customers and to the Calibration and Testing Services (CTS) team. In addition to the technical and engineering aspects of the role the Calibration Engineer will provide high level customer service and communication, on a personal basis and in written form. The Calibration Engineer will have a deep understanding of the IEC/ISO17025 standard requirements and will have all the relevant skills, capabilities, and experience to enable them to be a NATA signatory for the Enerven Calibration Laboratory. The Calibration Engineer will work closely with the Calibration and HV Operation Supervisor and the Calibration Laboratory BSO to ensure that all work is scheduled to relevant CTS team members and completed within agreed timeframes. What you will need: Degree in Electrical Engineering (or relevant Scientific Stream) Current drivers’ licence The ability to learn new skills and adapt to changes in standards, systems, and technologies. A strong commitment to working safely The drive to provide technical leadership in a team of like-minded professionals A willingness to lead a crew as required in a temporary leadership position This position is located at Marleston with free onsite parking available. The successful candidate may be required to work out of hours, travel intrastate/interstate and act as the Calibration and HV Operations Supervisor.
