South Australia is at the forefront of the global transition to clean energy by leading the integration of renewables across the industry to support Australia’s pursuit of 100% net renewables by 2030. The Associate Design Manager is a developmental role aimed at elevating the existing skills of the individual to be able to provide technical leadership for design management services and infrastructure, ensuring compliance with regulatory performance and network operation obligations. The Associate program will see the successful candidate rotate through the Primary Asset and Secondary System engineering teams to enhance the key technical competencies required of the role. The Associate will execute minor capital projects (at a reduced accountability), acting as the primary contact for the technical requirements of the project from the planning stage, through definition, execution and to handover to the asset owners.
