The Project This package of works covers the design and construction of the North East Link between the M80 - Plenty Rd interchange, and the north tunnel entrance at Watsonia. Works include three kilometres of new freeway, two kilometres of freeway upgrades, construction of retaining walls and bridge structures, rail interface works, intelligent transport systems, and urban design and landscaping. This diverse and challenging project will be complete in 2028. Key accountabilities for the position The role will initially be based at Site, with a focus on providing leadership and technical expertise to the Quality and Completions Team. Once the Quality and Completions Coordinators have reached a high performing level, the focus will then turn to Completions, with the role then based at the Project Office in Collingwood. Day to day functional management of the Quality and Completions Coordinators Providing leadership, mentoring and technical expertise to the Quality Coordinators Leading/driving the Completions process Resolve issues identified by the Quality and Completions Team and escalate as required To establish and continue to build strong working relationships both within the Quality and Completions Team, the Construction Team, NELP, and external stakeholders Promote compliant Work Lot completion and turnover in line with Project requirements and procedures Carry out Quality Surveillance as required, including scheduling and conducting audits and inspections of off-site subcontractors/suppliers as required Review, prioritise and coordinate the non-conformance process, including reporting Provide support and guidance to the Construction Team to ensure that the Quality Management System is implemented Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and delivery across the Alliance Required Skills and Competencies Appropriate tertiary qualifications or training in a Quality, trade or related discipline Lead Auditor experience Demonstrated experience in a previous Quality Leadership Role on a major construction project Advanced leadership and management skills with an ability to get the best from your team What we offer At ACCIONA, we offer a dynamic and challenging work environment where our employees can grow and develop their careers.
