Progressive and innovative company seeking a Warehousing Supervisor We are currently seeking a suitably experienced Warehouse Supervisor to be responsible for all facets relating to the efficient and effective operation of the South Australian Warehouse and provide continuous improvement processes to the operations. Working from 7:00 – 3:30, this role is highly autonomous and the successful candidate will require a high level of initiative and will be supported by the head office based in WA. Key Responsibilities Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and asset maintenance operations Picking and despatch to ensure despatch time targets are met and exceeded Maintain standards of health, safety, security and shipping legislation requirements Manage local freight arrangements, schedule and negotiate agreements with logistic suppliers and transport companies Work with sales, customer service, purchasing and management to achieve continuous improvement objectives Requirements Proven work experience in warehousing and supervision Ability to research, develop and implement process and system improvement initiatives Leadership skills and ability to manage, and coordinate competing priories Flexible and positive attitude Excellent communication, presentation and customer service skills LF and SA Drivers Licence Understanding of LEAN principles would be beneficial, but not a necessity In this role, you must be highly detail-focused, take pride in the work that you do, communicate well both verbally and written, be a team player and bring a can-do attitude.
