About the Role We have an opportunity for an experience short order cook to become a part of our kitchen team. What you will do: Performing all food preparation & cooking duties Performing allocated duties for shifts as directed by the Head Chef Maintaining performance & quality standards Preparation, cooking and safe storage of all stock Compliance with food safety and Workplace Health and Safety What you’ll need to succeed: Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Cook Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent experience Food Handler's Certificate preferable Knowledge of and experience with WHS & Hygiene procedures Exceptional presentation skills and personal grooming standards Able to work well as part of a team and under pressure High level communication skills, written, verbal and listening Exceptional efficiency with great attention to detail You are: A Foodie – you are passionate about presenting the food people enjoy; Proud – becoming a master of your craft to anticipate the needs of your customers; Hands On - you have a 'nothing is too hard' motto; you're not afraid to get your head down and hands dirty to get the job done.
