The Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing all activities within the Warehouse on a Manufacturing site. Managing a team of Warehouse Team Members, the Warehouse Manager will be responsible for best practice outcomes in regards to safety, people and culture, operational effectiveness and customer focus. Client Details I've partnered with an innovative, multi-site manufacturing business searching for their next Warehouse Manager. Delivering products globally, they're looking for an organised professional, with experience managing warehouse and transport operations within the following environments - Manufacturing / Distribution / 3PL. Location: Botany Description The Warehouse Manager will have the following responsibilities: Lead and manage all assigned warehouse team members including 3 rd party contractors. Create and actively manage a positive workplace culture. Drive engagement and discretionary effort of all warehouse team members. Formally and informally train, coach, develop, reward and manage performance of warehouse team members. Monitor and communicate performance against KPI's utilising visual performance management driving a continuous improvement mindset. Responsible for the adherence and continued improved of procedures and methods of operations. Responsible for the appropriate storage and inventory control of finished product. Make recommendations for facilities, equipment and other capital improvements. Maintain accurate theoretical inventory counts and ensure stocks are maintained at optimal levels through cycle counts & other inventory accuracy methodologies. Participate in the creation and execution of a strategy to become best practice in regards to warehouse operation in the medium term Profile The successful candidate for the Warehouse Manager role will ideally have the following key skills and qualities: Experience in warehouse management & transport logistics Background in Manufacturing / Distribution / 3PL Safety orientated - able to carry out audits / improve safety processes Understanding of DIFOT Exposure to warehouse management and control systems Experience in managing, developing and leading a team Able to demonstrate continuous improvement / change management Job Offer $120,000 - $150,000 To apply online please click the 'Apply' button below.
