Specialist Reliability Engineer - Fixed Plant Date: 25 Oct 2023 Location: Mine FIFO, AU 4/3; 4/3; 8/6 days only roster | FIFO from Perth to the Roy Hill Mine Base FIFO Allowances Shift Allowances Super Bonuses 18 Weeks paid Parental Leave for primary caregivers Company contribution towards private health cover for employees and immediate family About the role: The Asset Management team is currently seeking a Specialist Reliability Engineer - Fixed Plant to join the team on a FIFO roster (4/3;4/3;8/6) based at the Roy Hill Mine site. Reporting to the Superintendent Reliability Engineering - Fixed Plant (Inload/Outload), you will be responsible for managing asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations. This position shall encompass defect elimination, condition monitoring, risk management, life cycle asset management and other multidisciplinary activities as required. Duties includes, but are not limited to: Assess and optimize equipment strategy based on lifecycle benefits considerations Lead/facilitate investigations for equipment significant events across the organisation Ensure defect elimination Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and actions are completed in a timely manner and with a high level of quality. Develop engineering solutions to repetitive failures and other problems that adversely affect plant performance. Ensure early detection and prognosis of functional failure through condition monitoring Contribute to the implementation, execution, and improvement of the Roy Hill Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) procedures and activities Provide inputs into the long term plan and budget process Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering Understanding of assets maintenance, condition monitoring and analysis of relevant data Root cause analysis skills to identify and prevent issues Experience with master data and maintenance strategies (desirable) Experience working with registered plant (desirable) Experience working with balance machine (desirable) Experience in developing maintenance strategies and tactics from first principles Good stakeholder engagement skills (influential and negotiation) Demonstrated experience working with conveyors, crushers, screens and apron feeders Mine Site Facilities: Modern, comfortable camp accommodation High quality gourmet food options (vegan, gluten free and healthy options) Large fully equipped gym facility, as well as a gym specifically for females Heated outdoor swimming pool Beach Volleyball court and Golf simulators Village shop and extensive supporting amenities SWIFT in-room entertainment with comprehensive content and own-device casting capability Active social club with community events and activities for employees Lifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your family About the Company: Roy Hill represents the next generation of integrated iron ore mine, rail and port operations in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
