This role will work 1 day a week on a 12-month fixed-term contract. Based at Abbott's distribution centre in Darra (Queensland) , this is a highly administrative and logistically role supporting our Rapid Diagnostics (ARDx) Toxicology team. Your main responsibilities include (but not limited to): - Conduct pre-sale checks of instruments - Coordinate shipping of customer instruments - Manage the pool of Abbott-owned equipment - Assist with complaints related to service and repair work - Update and maintain instrument install base records and asset databases - Provide an interface between the customer and company - Build trusting, positive relationships with internal co-workers, customers, and other stakeholders - Proactively keep customers informed of delays and any interruptions to service levels - Follow all quality management system requirements Who we're looking for: - A keen interest in electronics and technical equipment - TAFE qualification or working towards a qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering would be an advantage - High attention to detail - Ability to work independently and is accountable - Someone comfortable with repetitive work - Ability to plan and prioritise work according to business needs and change focus when required - Must be a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills - Ability to build strong relationships with customers and provide excellent service Due to the inherent requirements of the role, the preferred candidate must provide evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination before the commencement date and maintain a fully vaccinated status for the period of employment.
