Specialist Engineer Production Date: 21 Oct 2023 Location: PH FIFO, AU 4/3 days only roster | FIFO from Perth to Port Hedland Performance, Retention and Profit Share Bonuses 18 weeks full pay or 36 weeks half pay for primary caregivers Company contribution towards private health cover for employees and immediate family About the role: The Port Operations team is currently seeking a Specialist Engineer Production to join them on a 4/3 Days only roster based at Port Hedland. Reporting to the Manager Port Operations, you will be responsible for leadership of the Production Engineering team and establishing, tracking and delivering a pipeline of projects to improve our overall business performance. Duties: Execute tasks related to Systems Assurance in both Port and Rail areas via auditing of processes and systems Identify gaps and develop action plans with key stakeholders to close identified gaps Manage risk by actively ensuring the Management of Change process is completed for all key changes, ensuring overall availability targets are actively pursued by working with key stakeholders in all subsystems as required Manage the Port laboratory team by supporting the safe execution of lab processes Manage technical queries from the Technical Marketing department Lead and contribute to the implementation, execution and improvement of the Roy Hill HSE Performance and Management standards Skills and Experience: Previous experience as a Management or Technical Specialist within a mining, fixed plant or shipping environment Bachelor's Degree in Process or Production Engineering and Current Australian C Class Driver's Licence Demonstrated Leadership experience Previous exposure to debottlenecking or constraint management methodologies (desirable) Advanced knowledge of data collection and rationalisation via use of SQL, Scripting and reporting tools such as PowerBI (desirable) Port Hedland Facilities: Modern, comfortable camp accommodation Convenient walking access to South Hedland town facilities and shops High quality gourmet food options (vegan, gluten free and healthy options) Fully equipped fitness centre facility SWIFT In-room entertainment with comprehensive content and own-device casting capability Active social club with community events and activities for employees Lifestyle, Learning and Recreation initiative which provide events for your family Village shop and extensive supporting amenities About the Company: Roy Hill is a world class mining company, leading the way through innovative, integrated mining rail and port operations, to export iron ore safely and efficiently from West Australia's Pilbara region.
