We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and self-motivated Sales & Clinical Specialist to join our Vascular business based in Melbourne , responsible for the West Melbourne territory with some regional travel. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager , this role would suit someone who loves taking the ownership of their territory. You would be responsible for managing the assigned territory assuring consistent sales growth and achievement of sales goals of existing business. You will also need to identify opportunities and gain new business and market share. Right winning attitude, a drive for success and dedication to our customers and patients would be the key to your success in this role. Main responsibilities are, and not limited to: - Meeting customer education and in-service requirements - Developing new business opportunities with existing and potential clients - Monitoring market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory - Maintaining close relationships with key accounts and ensuring their requirements are being met by our products; appraise current and planned customer needs, advising on the application of company products and services to customer requirements - Conducting education and case support within Catheterisation Labs & associated wards and personnel What you will bring to this role: - Prior experience selling vascular devices is ideal and medical device selling is highly advantageous - Degree level preferred in a science discipline or equivalent - Proven track record in delivering sales targets in a complex, solution selling environment - Good understanding of the industry process and function; able to convincingly discuss this with customers, as well as internal and external experts - Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills; be customer focused and empathetic - Ability to quickly absorb clinical information Due to the inherent requirements of the role, the preferred candidate must provide evidence of full COVID-19 vaccination before the commencement date and maintain a fully vaccinated status for the period of employment.
