Based in our Caringbah branch, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven ‘go-getter’ with a mechanical aptitude or industrial background who will be able to develop new and build on the already established customer relationships Swagelok delivers to. This development role provides an accelerated pathway to a dedicated industry and customer portfolio that grows as you grow with Swagelok. Reporting to the Customer Service Manager & Sales Manager, the main responsibilities include: • Preparing quotations and processing customer orders • Entering and recording talk notes into SAP for all customer discussions • Building and developing customer rapport and assisting customers with their enquiries • Proactively communicating with customers with regards to delays or issues that may arise and effectively resolve customer complaints • Identifying and generating leads, qualifying new business opportunities and actively supporting the external sales team. • Actively learning customer applications by reviewing drawings, attending site with colleagues, supporting field training or services to offer tailored solutions. This role will see you building pivotal relationships with our customers through inbound sales enquiries, outbound support, providing advice and product information as well as maintaining a continuous high level of customer service whilst engaging with our ‘One Team’ approach servicing Australia and New Zealand. What do we want? • Demonstrated experience in an Internal Sales or Project Support role with the ability to engage with all stakeholders both internally and externally. • Excellent interpersonal abilities with well-developed communication skills, to be flexible and empathetic in their approach • Inquisitive mindset to effectively qualify and understand Customer needs & provide varied solutions • Enthusiasm to develop your product and application knowledge aligning Swagelok product and service offerings with Customer needs across a range of industries • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a collaborative team • High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and interpretation Knowledge of industrial applications, products and processes as well as knowledge of SAP would be highly regarded.
